What do I want to accomplish in my writing? I don't want to impress people with flowery details or extremely sophisticated words; I simply want my readers to relate and connect with the characters in my stories. I want them to go on a journey with the character . . . through my words. Because I think that's the whole purpose of a novel, provide an escape or alternate world where they can experience vicariously through the main character.
