About Me:

Whats to say? I'm a total psycho! Yeah, I'm the former bassist and one of the songwriters of a famous speed/thrash metal band you may have heard of-OK their initials are AandS.We broke up in 1987, the less said about that, the better, they may sue me(just kidding, Juan and Bern)! Fuckit, hears the deal: we didn't actually break up. Read on, and I'll get to this later. To back up a little, I met these guys John and Chuck in 1981. We tried to form something,John was playing guitar, not singing, but nothing became of it. We kept in touch however. Before that, I had been one of the fortunate souls to be called out of the Recycler newspaper by Lars Ulrich, wanting to form a band.Went down to his place, he showed me his huge NWOBM record collection, then we started jamming on some Iron Maiden songs from their first album. I blew him off after that because he was such a terrible drummer at the time, but such is life, regrets- I've had a few(sniff)! I then threw in my lot with Armored Ant,-scuse me, Saint, then I did the same with those zany commies from Portland Oregon, Malice. Both experiences were complete wastes of my time as I was personally and professionaly incompatible with them both. Moreover, it must be noted that both of those bands were comprised of complete douchebags as well, and believe you me, I'm not exaggerating, but that's beside the point. In 1985, John Cyriss gave me another call, and the rest is history. Now, our so-called breakup. After our European tour, we did a showcase, for no less then 7 or 8 major lables. When we were done, only the A&R guy from Capital introduced himself, and shook all our hands, saying he'll get in touch- btw, he had just signed Megadeth. The other label guys just up and left,.I guess they had to go sign Poison, or L.A. Guns, or some other shitty poser band. Several weeks went by, then John calls me, out of the blue, demanding that we move the band to Florida. I told him that it was out of the question, and it wasn't very fair of him to make such a selfish demand of us. Plus, at the time, my then girlfriend and I were going thru a stressful thing where we thought we were gonna have a baby. And I blame our management for this, not John. They were the adults in the situation. They enabled him to fuck everything up, not to mention the pending deal with Capital. Where were their priorities? We-all of us, never wanted to quit, they gave us no choice. So he and Chuck went to Florida, and that was that. Fucking lame, and sad. A year or so, afterword, Juan, thru a connection of his, got me an audition with D.R.I.(Dirty Rotten Imbecils), as they had just canned their bassplayer, Josh. I learned their newest album at the time, Four of a Kind note for note. I also taught myself a bunch of their older material for good measure.( i was a fan of them)This was a real shitty record I have to say,but went to my audition, played flawlessly, but didn't get the gig. Hey, their fuckin' loss. They ended up hiring some beaner kid that could barely play, go figure. Next, was the Mofo Homeboys, a crossover-thrash band in the west Valley. I stayed with them for almost four years, if you can find our material, it is well worth your search, some of our live shows are here on Youtube. Also, Tom Baile-the vocalist/guitarist put up a Myspace page for this band. A lotta cool old photos from back in the day. In 1995, Rob Perkins, from the band Wargod,Brett Phillips-a very early 2nd guitarist for Megadeth(before Chris Poland even) and I formed the punk band Kathie Lee Dahmer, and proceded to write a bunch of songs for this project. Heavily influenced by The Ramones, The Dead Kennedys, and The Pistols, this band was very politically charged. We were making some serious headway with this outfit,, however due to a very nasty and violent altercation between myself and Rob, we broke up in early 1998. He was my roommate at the time, as was my brother, who had to physically pull me off him. as we got into it, throwing down right there in my living room. I should mention we were both drunk as hell. And I blame me for this, due to my volatile Croatian temper. But he was (and is) an obnoxious loudmouth. This band's product too, is excellent, but very hard to find, like any good, underground art, but its out there. Later that year,Juan, Chuck, and Bernie approached me about re- forming Agent Steel. I helped them audition vocalists however, at that time, I not only was engaged to get married, but had already bought property in Arizona, and was also commited to a job I had landed there. It really broke my heart, not being able to participate, but there is always the future, right? Which brings us to the present-Unforeseen is my new position as bassist, Phoenix's undisputed top thrash metal band. Check them out at: http://www.unforeseenonline... These are longtime friends of mine, incredible musicians that are up for creating the most balls-out music possible. We can be reached on Facebook too.

Punk. But I can get into most anything, even my dad's 1940s bigband and swing music. Anything, that is, except G.L.A.M.-gayass Los Angeles metal. I can't stand anything that even remotely stinks of that shit. Much thanks to the Seattle bands for coming along and killing that garbage off.

I even read books by people I can't stand, like Noam Chomsky. I am an avid reader, give me a good book over the shit on television any day

Nobody special? Pshhh, yea maybe to some, To me your an excellent musician from an excellent, band, Some what of a forgotten player, since the lime light has always been on john because of his crazy antics. Mad respect my friend.

Thanx, much xheadbanger. tha song "the unexpected" was something John, and tha recruits in Florida threw together half-assed before their tour. Juan, Bern. and I had our own shit that was much more thought out, the unexpected wasn't part of that. But thank for yer interest, and loving what we do, the honor is all mine, I'm nobody special BTW

I think we got a bit of a taste Of what could have came from agent steel from "the unexpected", But was that song written with juan and bernie? or was made once John got james murphy and the rest of the guys from Florida. By the way, Im 17 years old, and its an honor to talk to you, even if its over a youtube channel lol, Fucking amazing man, You guys, agent steel, are in my top 3 favorite bands, 2nd, behind megadeth, Simply for the creativity you guys used to make your music. Fucking amzing!
