Typically it is the $1!!! Yeah!!!! However it depends on the store. There have recent changes in these bogo policies. So it depends on if your store policy does not have an exclusion on using a coupon on the free item. Which store are you talking about, maybe I can tell you yes or no for sure?

No it is not illegal. Companies allow you to use one manufacturer coupon per item in most cases. If the coupon takes off the full amount of the item on discount to where it ends up FREE then that is just good for us!
