Q. Is t.A.T.u. over?
Lena and Yulia have both confirmed that t.A.T.u. has split. At the "You and I" (Ty Y Ya) film premiere January 2011, Yulia said that she had been in t.A.T.u. for over 10 years and she was ready to move on and do new things. In an October 2011 interview with Viva! Magazine, Lena said, "....It became impossible to work together. I don't want to wash dirty linen in public, but everyone had one's reasons, and we were tired of each other."
Q. Are t.A.T.u. lesbians?
No, t.A.T.u. are not lesbians. Yulia said in 2003, "Everyone is so sure we are lesbians, but we are bisexual." And in 2005, she said, "We are not lesbians, but we were never hetero either." Due to Yulia's comments, which seemed to refer to both girls, fans were led to believe that Lena is also bisexual. Lena is said to not believe in labeling sexual orientation. On December 13, 2011, on her Facebook page, Lena answered, "...I like guys, but I strongly support the gay community!"

Q. Is the music video for "White Robe" about abortion?
The music video for "White Robe/Beliy Plaschik" is indeed about abortion and murder in general. Lena Katina confirmed this in the UCSB interview from March 2008: "Like 'Beliy Plashik,' it's our new song. Did you see the video? It's against abortions and against when someone kills another, or when somebody hurts another....It's against that and against abortion." Yulia: "We are exactly against violence and against killing unborn children. This is the meaning of the clip." (Moskovskij Komsomolets Interview, Dec. 2007). In the same interview, Lena added: "We don't support to forbid abortion. We call people to responsibility, people have to be taught to want children themselves and not wish their death in the first stage."

Q. Did Yulia have an abortion in real life?
Yulia had an abortion in 2003 (confirmed by her in the 2003 documentary "Anatomy of t.A.T.u.")
Q. Do the t.A.T.u. girls have kids?
Yulia has a daughter, Viktoria (b. September 23, 2004) with Pasha Sidorov, and a son, Sam (b. December 27, 2007) with Parvis Yasinov.
Q. Did Yulia break up with Parvis?
Yulia confirmed in June 2010 in an interview with OK! Magazine that she and Parvis (Sam's father) had been broken up for three months and she was dating someone else. When asked who initiated the breakup, she said, "There was no initiator. We just realized in certain point, that our feelings had burned out and there's no reason for us to be together." When asked if there would be a custody battle for their son Sam, she said, "That's a total nonsense, why should we split the kid? How can you manipulate with a child anyway?!....First, I think that a real man can't take a kid away from a mother. Second, I won't allow to anyone to take my kids. These are my kids!" She later made an appearance with her new boyfriend at a party for her solo career.
Q. Is Lena dating anyone?
In an interview in the summer of 2010, she confirmed she is dating a Slovenian man named Sasha, who is living in the States. He wrote the song "Waiting", for her upcoming album.
