"my tiger luck" is the band project of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Damon Eckard. Formerly a member of the Kansas-based shoegaze/dreampop band Shallow, Damon relocated to the SF bay area in 1999, and began work on more intimate and spare solo acoustic music. He returned to writing music and arrangements for a full band in early 2008, and began releasing songs under the name "my tiger luck" during the summer of that year.Currently, "my tiger luck" is comprised only of one member, with all parts and words being written, and all instruments and vocals being performed by him alone.

I go to a lot of shows, and I always try to capture the most magical and transcendent moments on "film", either in stills or in video. You'll find those videos here. Ones of me and my own music will eventually be here too, so stick around if you're interested - and don't hesitate to let me know if you like what you hear.
