About Me:

The United States has been high-jacked by corporate interests. Our politicians, News Media and political system have been bought out by these corporate interests. Corporate interests are not the same as the interests of the United States Citizens. I would argue that corporate interests are extremely detrimental in that they lobby with their huge profits against new technologies (ie. energy, medical) that would threaten their grip-hold on our society. Where is all the discussion of renewable energy that was being ramped up during the 2008 election? We're being controlled. Lets just see how many trillions of dollars can be milked from the US Treasury by these corporate interest before their propped-up dollars collapes. The Corporate machine is now in high gear.

U.S. citizen's programs and rights are being stripped while our military annual estimated budget of almost $700 billion (more in the trillions) is not open for discussion by our politicians and news media. A military that has become the fist of corporate interests, particularly the Oil Companies. Trillions of dollars spent and hundreds of thousands lives lost on both sides to protect the oil companies interests. All while the Oil Companies and War industry enjoy record profits.

I ask you, Is this what United States of America stands for? Could a large portion of the trillions spent be used in more productive ways? Investing in new energy and medical technologies to move us forward in the 21st century. Investing in our future, the children. This is the America I believe in. Investing in ourselves and the other countries of the world? Please watch my favorite videos. You will rarely, if ever find these views on our Corporate Media News Channels. After watching these points of view, I watch our news media with a more critical eye.

Despite what you might think, I love my country. I can not stand by idle (not American Idol) while I see these things that are destroying the foundation of what America is suppose to be.

Once again, our political system taking our country hostage. This time trying to push the Keystone Pipeline deal through with the payroll tax extension. Isn't hostage taking illegal? Current US politics as usual.

Waste, fraud, corruption and greed. The greatest loss is what could have been.

Chris Hedges, those arrested, all the Occupy protesters across our country are true HEROS. Standing up (or sitting in) for the rest of us, the 99%. They bravely stand up and expose themselves, even for the 99% who are misled or uninformed and do not support them. Much attention has been focused on Oakland, glad to see some coverage of OWS. Hadn't seen much on them lately but they never left my thoughts. They are the original shining example of non-violent civil disobedience in the Occupy movement. MLK and his mentor, Gandhi, are standing among all of them in spirit. "There is power in non-violent resistance... They know how to handle violence, but they've proved over and over again, that they don't know how to handle non-violence"... Martin Luther King.

Free Market? Fine, but every game must have a set of rules by which to have fair play, even in a society. Corporations have no conscience other than to their shareholders. Therefore, regulations must be established to prevent corporations from externalizing (dumping) cost of doing their business and to protect the society they serve. As a case in point, we have seen what a deregulated financial market has given us. Plunder! Corporate Charter is a privilege in our society, not a birthright. As if Corporations were people...

In addition to reversing Corporate Personhood lets see some severe restrictions in the revolving door between the corporate world and politics. Especially the revolving door between regulators and the industries they are to regulate. That practice is nothing more than blatant fertile ground for corruption, it needs to stop.

The West acquires its resources through death, thievery, intimidation and plunder. Otherwise known as war disguised as humanitarian. Lining the pockets of the Military Industrial Complex and their cronies along the way. China acquires it's resources through mining, development and aggressive competition. Investing in innovation along the way. The two business models are about to clash. China, Steady Eddie vs. the West running on it's fumes.
