I like records. I've been collecting them for over thirteen years, which is just about half my life.

I often wish that I could go through other people's record collections to see all the good stuff that they have. That's the idea behind these movies. They're my opportunity to share, to let other folks flip through the best of what I've got and have a listen.

Why am I making this music available here? Because it's not available elsewhere. My goal is to share great stuff from the 60s/70s that's been overlooked in the digital age. Most of the music I'm posting here has NEVER been reissued. Other stuff is either out of print or only available on shoddy bootlegs. These records (rare ones, at that) are all that we fans have.

Kurt have you gotten anything new lately? I am going to move to north carolina in a couple of weeks. There I can make more visit to PAPA Jazz Records.

You`re off to a good start. I`ve been collecting for about 45 years, since I was about 7 or 8, and my older sister was an Elvis and Ricky Nelson fan. She began to listen to the British Invasion stuff, but that quickly became "my music" and the rest is history. My collection is mostly 60s,70s and some earlier and later with the emphasis on British Invasion, 60s garage rock and 70s progressive rock.

As a young man, you`re off to a good start with your collecting and targeting a period I gravitate toward always. How did you become interested in music of the 60s? Exposure from parents? I`m 53 and grew up during the British Invasion and my favorite period is 1966-67 when garage rock was at its zenith...
