Hopefully you are thinking of soaking it so you can remove/change the tube. That's the right way to do it. I wouldn't soak it for more than a few minutes, or you invite rust to the steel chest piece.

@NYCdude321 CNA is a good way to start. But I think you'll find that many schools would prefer other types where you are making more of the decisions about your patient's care (EMT, paramedic, respiratory therapist, physical therapy, medical assistant, etc.)
