Ignorance being the operative word and that's why religion folds under questioning because believers deal in faith not logic.

I originally heard this song on black and white T.V. as an anti animal cruelty anthem however it's just occured to me that it would be equally appropriate for it to be directed towards the present Government and other assorted capitalist grabbers with their noses in the trough

I was also a teenager back in the 70/80's and was lucky enough to be reared on authentic music not the plastic pop that's churned out these days. I'm sure your mother is a good woman but she's listening to the "music" of someone who was in need of serious psychictric help. Just a thought!
