About this user

The language of video (film) fascinates me because it has so much power and influence in our world. I'm interested in using video as a form of communication that can help build communities at the grass roots.

Our world is healthier and more democratic with everyone literate in the expressive language of video. I love showing people how much fun it can be to turn video making into a physically active, community minded team sport. I call it the Video Ensemble process. It's kinda like Improvisational Theatre with a video camera. Earlier adopters of this approach to learning and practicing the language of video (film) are View Finders International Film Festival for Youth, Literacy Nova Scotia, Annapolis Valley School Board, Valley Community Learning Association, Acadia University and People First Nova.
