If they could see you

If they could see you as I do, would they understand?
The differance between MJ the entertainer and Michael Jackson ,the man.

Could they surrender thier hate, open thier narrow minds,
To the real truth, that you committed no crimes?

If they would listen to your messages in the songs that you write,
The messages of love,healing and doing what is right.

Could they understand the real person you are, open thier hearts and understand MJ is the "star".

If they could look at in your eyes and see what I see, the pain that they caused , to such a beautiful soul on this earth,
Would it change thier perception at all and see what your worth?

If they could cry the tears that I cry, when I think of the hurt you have felt,
Could compassion creep into thier hearts,and the prejudice melt.

If they could feel the joy I feel at the sight of your face,
When I see you hug a child and her saddness is erased.
If they could for just one moment, think for thenselves, not be lost in the lies that the media creates.

They would see you as I do , a man who fights ,for , love, peace and dignity.
Who is human and makes mistakes.

If they could see you the way I do, MIchael, would you come home? Continue your work.I promise you wont fight alone.

If they would see you as I do, they would understand, why I love you most ..

the light
I will tell you the story of a light so bright
it flickered and sputtered then was out of sight.
The world gasped they couldn't think why,
They cried they screamed, they looked to the sky.

All they could see was darkness and air.
they thumped thier chests and cried in dispair.
They blamed each other for this terrible lost.
The light they loved was gone they thought.

They looked in thier hearts and realized,
The light was all but really dispised,
By the elders in the city of gloom and dispair
They hated the light and all who held it dear.

One by one they came together to form an army,
One of truth , love and right.
One so strong and loyal to the sweet bright light.
A promise to fight for its legacy with all its might.

We who love thislight with our hearts and souls,
Tried to save it from the hate that make it cold,
To no avail, though we tried hard and long
To hear again its beautful soulful wonderous song.

A new sound began to ring, through the town.
One of hope and joy abound.
That the light wasn't gone, it will come
It is waiting for us to call it home

We wait now with hope in our hearts,
That the light has become stronger.
That it will burn brighter and longer
Hate will be distroyed and we will ALL sing,
Love.Overcomes. Virtualy. Everything.
