I just read your comment on my question about WWI on Saving Private Ryan Part 1. Well, of course, Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian and Germany had to join in because they were allies but I don't really see the point of them helping Serbia. The States had a reasonable cause to join didn't they? I mean Germans blew up the Lusitana for heaven's sake.
