because 3 of my pc does the same, but the sound is not really coming from the PSU,

yes, you can use projector with your shadow in it. and its not that sharp specially if you are working on documents other monitors as for references.
projectors maybe when watching movie or gaming and again its not very detailed compared to led or lcd,
maybe a borderless monitor is better for ...
