cute ideas, but nail dotting tools are sooooo cheap on ebay, it's almost not worth digging through the house to find all that stuff. I just ordered a set of 5 dotting tools with a total of 10 different dotting sizes on ebay for $1.26, shipping included.

I actually usually empty it probably 80-90% of the way, carry it into the bathroom then tip it into the sink and scoop the rest of the water and gravel into a strainer and wash the gravel.
