We are an animal rescue in rural Louisiana. We started out as a family run cat rescue, and expanded to include dogs, rabbits, rats, gerbils, guinea pigs, an iguana, a ferret, a hedgehog, and even a goat! We called our rescue "My Cat Ranch." Over the past few years, we worked with various area rescues saving animals from the local animal control facility. In 2006 we worked very closely with the Acadiana Humane Society. On January 1, 2007 we merged my Cat Ranch and Acadiana Humane Society, and I am the current President. We are currently working on raising funds to finish building our own hurricane safe animal shelter. So far, we have raised enough for the basic hurricane safe steel building kit, and also the concrete foundation! The shell of the building is now complete. We are currently raising funds for the interior walls, plumbing, electrical, and supplies!

I am an animal rescuer living in rural Louisiana. I am happily married for 26 years. We are raising three wonderful children who all love and help care for the animals on my Cat Ranch.
