uhm i don't think she was a child of privilege really, i think she only went to private schools because she got scholarships off her own back, not because her mother could actually afford the fees for it & her father wouldn't even have paid anything towards he r- if you actually read the book.

@rjplamf61 not that Caroline even works of course, it's her HUSBAND who seems to have saved all the money. She's really not that 'rich' just moderately 'well-off' and she's stupid and pointless, so her money is good for nothing, doesn't even bother to educate herself.
