You shoulda been there. Killer performances every weekend in rooms that held 250 max (maybe $5 cover). That couldn't happen in today's music industry. Who wants to pay $100 to see a stage full of dry-ice smoke and choreographed dance routines?

I love Joan Baez but nobody can match Emmylou cuz she wrote it for Gram and it was so deeply personal. It'd be a great duet. Emmylou does lots of wonderful duets. Check out her and Bonnie Raitt with Jesse Winchester A Capella, then the Trio album with Dolly and Linda, on and on........
