I cannot believe they are not in the Hall of Fame. Behooves me! I got married in 1968 and I remember playing all their songs in our first apartment. Brings back sooooo many memories We've been married now almost 43 years and still love the Spinners. Yes!

Was thirteen when this came out in summer '63. Oh my...the memories!! Can someone invent a time-machine where we can all go back for a few and relive those great times. I will be the first to buy a ticket. Silly I know but what the heck.

Grandmother was part Cherokee (from Cherokee County in Souh Carolina - Gaffney). Love this song and so did she.

@readynow12345 Actually that was called a "process" back then. It was really a perm and they tied it down with a do rag to make it stay that way. LOL LOL. Just about all of the stars wore them before going to the Afro.

@mandisgoj Nothing wrong with being a momma's boy. In fact, that's an honor. I lost my mom three years ago and would be do proud if my sons would refer to me as being momma's boys. Would do anything to hear my momma's voice just one more time.

My older sister, may she rest in peace, played this record so much in the summer of '63 that I thought the grooves would actually melt into the vinyl. I was about 13 at the time and she was about 20. She played it about 100 times before hitting the clubs. I miss her so much. This just brings ...
