Oh I forgot to mention, I love your Sai ma video! If you listen closely, you can actually hear the galloping of the horses! Do you take your Erhu to school? Im learning to play Pipa and I dont know if I should take mine to school to practice because I also take lessons.

Hi, you're erhu playing is wonderful. I am actually writing a children's book for my senior project in college, about music from different countries. One character is a little girl from Shanghai who is learning the Erhu from her mother. I was wondering If i could ask you some questions about learning to play the erhu for research for the story.

Hi! i love ur erhu playing.
i just have question about the erhu. see i have to make a musical instrument for physics, so i chose the erhu, since i already play the violin.
we can't use any parts used to make a real erhu.
anyways, the box (or resonator) at the bottom of the erhu, how big is it exactly?
and how long is the tube?
what type of string does the erhu have? and is it like the violin? like D string and A string?
i would appreciate it so much if you can answer.

I live in Seattle, so I'm not with Galaxy Youth. I wish I can play erhu, but I don't have spare time to learn it anymore as I'm learning flute, dizi, hulusi and guzheng right now :(

Hulusi is easy to master. If you have a hulusi, I don't see any problems in self-learning. Besides hulusi, I also play flute, dizi and guzheng. How I wish I can play erhu too!
