@richcapo - he probably could do all those things really well... just isn't his style and no need to do so in his music. Fine be me! :-)

@DjentleDjiant - 'Q' is the width of the adjustment curve. It's inversely proportional, so a low 'Q' means a wide curve and a high 'Q' is a narrow curve (like a spike or a sharp cut).

@Linsenpuppe - A buffer does not color the tone enough to make it a 'nonsense' comparison. I would be surprised if anybody could consistently ID whether a guitar was plugged directly into an amp or through a disengaged pedal w/ buffer. I suppose for the sake of 100% fairness, a TB looper shou...

@bb3383 Do you have a link to the stock module schematic? I was able to find the PCB layout, but that doesn't do a whole lot of good without the schematic. ;-)

@AlembicVapor I agree the AxeFX is way ahead of the HD500, but after I used the HD500 for a bit I was able to get some pretty good tones out of it. Granted I didn't keep the HD500 and still have the AxeFX, so you know which I stayed with, but I think the HD500 is a great $500 piece of gear.
