The features as they appear in this video:
-jungle biomes
-collision box on ladders
-climb vines
-f1 disables black boxes
-saplings and dispensors have new looks
-can have 64 stacks of mob eggs now and disepensors can fire the actual mob instead of the item
-you can now craft flame charges with coal, gunpowder, and a blaze powder. This can be used in a dispensor to fire a horrizontal fireball that isn't effected by gravity. Also you can right click it and it acts as a flint and steel.
-A new tamable mod named the owelots have been added. You can use a raw fish to tame it. Once tamed, they will turn into one of 3 pet cats. Also if you feed it another raw fish and it will be able to mate. When the new cats mate, they will breed a baby cat.
-Bottle o' enchanting is a new item only in creative mode that will grant the user experience orbs.
-You can now enchant any level items in creative mode
-You can now place half slabs on the upper half of a block now
-You can now place stairs on the ceiling for decorations
-You can make an invisible window by placing stairs in this fashion
-You can now craft lamps by placing restone around a glowstone block in a crafting bench.
-This can be used to turn on and off the light with a redstone current
-Double doors now both open when stepped on a pressure plate
-By clicking f3, you can now tell what biome you are in.
-Snow golems are killed if spawned in a jungle or desert biome
-There is a new block called circle stone brick
-Skeletons have a new AI which allows them to take shelter from the suns rays from either shade or water.
-Zombies and Skeletons have a new AI which allows them to find the closets path to get to you, even walking around walls.
-redstone can now be placed on glowstone, and redstone torches can now be placed on glass.
-Crafting ladders now gives you 3 instead of 2, and crafting slabs now give you 6 rather then 3
-The new highlimit has been increased to 256 from the regular 128
-Mobs now have a slim chance of dropping rare items
-lighting is no longer generated by the server, but by the client
-Snow Golems are can now be damaged in the rain
-Villagers can now breed if there is extra space in the village
-Villagers all new AI's in which they can open doors, although right now they still do a 3 stooges effect and can't wait their turn in getting in a door.
-Villagers now have a protector if there is around 15 villagers in a village with at least 1 house.
-Alternatively you can craft a golem by placing iron blocks into a T shape, and placing a pumpkin on top like this.
-Zombies now will go after villagers at night.
-Also if villagers are under attack by mobs, they golems will come and attack the mobs.
-Creepers are now afraid of pets cats and will run away
-Wolves can now breed when given meat
-Wolves now have a new AI that will prevent them from dying stupidly
- zombies will now be able to break down doors in hard mode or greater.

Sorry for the late upload. Was busy with a video for Machinima, and filming the promotion video with this weeks guest.
The goal of this series is to start a new world and try to kill the enderdragon as fast as you can. In this video I use my new stratagy to get into the nether. I made the nether portal in 8 minutes and 20 seconds, 8:20, but I didn't go in straight away since I was looking for a little bit of iron.
Rules of the Series:
Hardcore Survival Speed Run rules
1)Must play on hardcore
2)Must spawn a random world
3)Constant recording, no breaks, however multiple videos are ok
4)No mods
5)Has to be on the current real release of minecraft
6)Only modification you can do with the game are stuff that won't give you an advantage in playing (texture packs so long as they are not xray, shaders mod)

Minecraft 1.2 (Development snapshot week 8)
The iron golem spawns in the NPC villages in a normal Minecraft world. They drop iron ingots and red roses when killed.
They also have the ability to give roses to the villagers and villager children.
They do 3.5 - 10 hearts of damage when swinging their arms, this means that they can kill you with one hit.
They can also be spawned by placing four iron blocks and one pumpkin in a special formation.
