With its alluring interpretations, the duo explores the flute and guitar repertoire with passion and impeccable musical flair, sometimes adding new and dazzling dimensions to standards with their own arrangements. And while they perform the classical repertoire with brio, the pair enjoys discovering new musical horizons. Whether playing classical Latin American music or works by contemporary composers, Similia thrives to charm music lovers with melodious musical selections and genuine passion.This appropriately named duo, comprised of twins, Nadia (flute) and Annie (guitar), created Similia in 1998. Similia continually transcends musical borders to encompass a wide and eclectic repertoire, delighting music aficionados from all cultures.

Gagnant du Félix album instrumental de l'année lors du gala de l'ADISQ 2004 avec leur enregistrement Nota del Sol et en nomination pour Album classique de l'année en 2006 pour Fantasia, paru sous étiquette Analekta, Similia se démarque par la finesse et la musicalité de ses prestations. Actualisant le répertoire pour flûte et guitare par ses interprétations et par les arrangements qu'il réalise, le duo donne une dimension nouvelle et explosive à des pièces musicales qui ont traversé le temps et les cultures, tout en affirmant son goût pour les œuvres d'aujourd'hui.
