@Onegin65 This is a whole tone lower, but Sutherland had a solid high E for a good bit of her career (see the cadenza of Bel Raggio Lusinghier on "The Art of the Prima Donna") and both she and Richard Bonynge claim that she vocalized up to an F#, but no one has never heard that

@ballet81895 The music featured in many of the other Odile variations in these videos is (at least on my complete recording) the coda from the Act I PdD...I'm not sure which version of the ballet i own or which they are using, but I assume at some point they got shuffled

I know her voice isn't ideal for it, but I don't think Renee is as bad at bel canto as everyone says. It's true that her voice is not quite as limpid and flexible, but I think she does a phenomenal job of humanizing it at giving meaning to the fiorature and colorature, even if the bravura factor...
