Nein, Sido hat nicht recht (und vielleicht nur - gedrückt, um Anrufe zu provozieren): Das ist nicht nur eine sensationelle Stimme, sondern ein immens musikalisches Mädchen mit Riesenpotential.

Andras Schiff IS a very serious artist - I met him once personally. I´d say that ANY performing artist should take the composer and his music very seriously, otherwise he has failed his/her profession. (BTW: I´m a composer myself).

Never heard it so unrhythmically like here ....

Since I´m a composer I often have to deal with the problem „how to write it down clearly“! Interpreters often won´t care for many details, just play it as they like it – even in times when using a metronom indication is standard - and the results can be very frustra...

This is still slightly too slow (remember: ALLA BREVE !), but excellent nevertheless.

Beautiful singer. BUT one should not forget that the composer and first performer was the Austrian UDO JÜRGENS (Juergens) who sung this song in 1964 at the European Song Contest - and reached the 5th place. Later in 1966 he won the Contest with Merci, Cherie ...

Hi, I disagree somewhat: It´s nothing about "correctness" but about "respect" for what the composer meant. To "interpretate" (from Latin) means "to explain" or "to construe" ... if an interpreter only wants to express what HE/SHE feels he simply should write his own music. I myself a co...

This composition - as good as it is - is most probably not by JS Bach but by Johann Peter KELLNER, a pupil of Bach.

Many people who are used to Bachs authorship won´t believe it, but the last researches are leading in that direction. It is far too atypical for Bach himself.
