I am a nurse in a psychiatric treatment facility, for children ages 12 to 18. heartbreaking to see how alone they are while fighting demons given to them by those who abused them. They cut themselves, abuse themselves, walk around in a daze .. or are angry and hurt others. Adults have done absolutely unimagineable things to them.. I find I am different just by having heard and seen things that no one should have to.Idon't watch much comedy anymore.. Stupid shit just doesn't seem funny when I see children, 130 of them, whom I know by name and face, suffer because of their past. God help them..and us.
