I still have the LP I bought when this album came out. This group never got the air play they deserved. Martha was such a sensual woman with an incredible presence and voice. If her pose on the album cover with the peek-a-boo bit of her thigh showing doesn't get your pulse going, then you must...

I played this album a lot during my parties at college in the late 70's and it used to amaze me the number of people who had never heard of CBB. I guess that was because it didn't get top 40 airplay. I still love the innerplay between the sax and the guitar and what a guitar it was. It was said ...

Esperanza Spalding I have heard of and I love her voice. Justin Beber I have never heard of. What style of jazz does he sing? Or is he just a pop flavor of the month that dances like he has ants in his pants and lip synchs to everything because he does not have proper breath control and pitch?

Jethro Tull has had a long and storied career with sometimes some rather juvenile lyrics, BUT, this has always been my favorite Tull song. Their STAND UP album (I have a copy of the original release with the stand up centerfold) was one of their earlier releases but still my favorite Tull album.

Eric Johnson is a fantastic rock guitarist, heavily influenced by Chet Atkins. Their styles were very different, but they had one thing in common, the guitar.

This is one soulful song! Three Tommy Bolin albums frequently spun on my turntable when I was in college in the late '70's. My friends Jack and Mary Jane were frequently invited to the party. Both of them have long since gone but I still have the albums.
