Deborah Diak aka "The Music Marketing Maven" is the President and CEO of Rising Star Artists and Street Smart Music Marketing. In addition to running two companies, Ms. Diak is the Executive Director and a Board Member for Sacred Sounds Music Inc.

A big believer in the arts, Deborah Diak supports The Grammy Foundation, an organization devoted to cultivating the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to American culture.

Diak is a qualified management executive and music industry expert, attended SUNY Empire State College and received a corporate finance certificate from The David Rogers School. Mr. Rogers was a former Harvard Business School professor.

Deborah Diak is no stranger to the corporate world. She spent 26 years as the Staff Director to the Vice President of Finance at New York Telephone Company and 13 years as a Board Member for Sacred Sounds Music, Inc., which taught her how to combine entrepreneurial vision with corporate governance.

After retiring from telecommunications, Diak spent 10 years as a District Manager with H&R Block which required grass roots and low cost marketing campaigns. Diak joined Sacred Sounds Music Inc., in 1997, in a variety of capacities in the music field. Before being elected to the Board of Directors, Deborah Diak was responsible for contract negotiations, show production, finding talent and promoting stage productions in Europe.

Deborah Diak helps independent musicians build a following and dramatically increase music sales. Diak offers a wide range of programs and services - from consulting, to publicity and media exposure. Deborah Diak now focuses mainly on social media and internet marketing.
