Musicastrada is a Cultural Association that was built in 2000 on the basis of a common idea, that is to say putting together workers of the show businness i.g. musicians, sound and light engineers, photographers, designers, scene painters, video-makers, theatre tecnicians and so on, in order to create a different music, photografy and video festival. From then 9 edition has been realized, with musician from all over the world. Musicastrada Festival usually starts in the second half of July and ends up the last week of August for a total ammount of 28/30 concerts. Quite every night the gigs are in a different town and each town is so different from the other even if they are so close. During Musicastrada Festival you can breathe an atmosphere that involves musicians and public as it happened long time ago. Music comes back to be a part of ordinary life. Musicians are not the only leading character but people themselves are all leading characters. There's not only a public of experts or just music lovers but a variegated public of different origins and different ages, all taking part in creating a familiar atmosphere where the conversation among people and musicians is natural as it doesn't occur during the other festivals.
