Yet despite his early exposure to the music he would not come to public attention until his family moved to Spanish Town where he would attach himself to some of the popular sound systems like sound Dimension, Black Liberation... providing entertainment in the old Jamaican capital.
It was on the popular set Stereo One that he was encouraged by Ricky Stereo to take the business seriously resulting in the recording his first single Mi Inna Di Bizniz a musical proclamation that he was ready for the world.
Muscle Ranks would keep the link with his birthplace and record for several labels like Exterminator amongst others.
He would make a spiritual sojourn to Nine Miles, which would result in a personal transformation and a change of name. It was in the hills of Nine Miles that Muscle Emanuel was born.
Then he would embark on a tour across Jamaica with Caveman international which was organized by elder Sipo & which aimed to promote the values of rastafari.
Emanuel would subsequently voice on a few small labels and went on a European tour with the artiste Anthony B in 2002.
Emanuel remained in Europe for a few years where he met Violeta Fernandez AKA Purple V and establish Afrikan Bump Muzik Label.
His singles Inna Dem Time Yah and It's D' Love on the Sweet Stick Rhythm which has been getting notable attention on the airwaves.
