About this user

Craig Murray started playing guitar 8 years ago and has been playing strong ever since. He first attended lessons in school and since then went on to write his origional songs and play many top venues around dublin and Ireland like Radiocity, Eamonn Dorans, Drumoland Castle and the hazel hotel.

He started his first band in September 2007 which was named Spotlight and consisted of Rythem guitarist Colin Gormley and Lead guitarist Davin Harrison, while Craig Sang and also played rythem guitar. He decided to go solo when approched by prmotors who got him solo gigs around Dublin.

He now plays along side bassist Niall Dunphy , Lead guitarist Terry Murphy , and percusionist Stephen Flood , in a band they have named "The Loose Connections" They have played to crowds of over 1000 at venues such as Electric Picnic, Whelans, the Pint , Pravda, The Village, The Sterring Wheel, Harbour Bar , Twisted Peppers and many more.

The Loose Connections are dedicated to reaching all audiences with their awesome acoustic rock style. their influences have been great bands such as, Oasis, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Ocean Colour Scene, Craigs Cousins Rob "N" Shakey , Craigs uncles, Noelie Mc Guiness and The Beatles.
