Munro began his journey when he hopped on a bus to escape the suffocation of suburban monotony. After developing a niche by drawing on influences ranging from Bayou Blues, Joe Purdy and Neil Young to Margot and The Nuclear So and So's, Munro front man Stuart DeRouen developed a uniquely haunting, emotionally honest sound that is driven by powerfully deep lead guitar tones overlaying a more mellow acoustic foundation. This combined with an emphasis on lyrics that ring true to the soul and DeRouen's smooth and soaring vocal melodies give breath to his creation.
