Invisible City inspired by the Dante Alighieris Divine Comedy.

From the Buenos Aires entrails, a Danteish fringe character is given rise, stepping through a winding stairway as he reaches the Avenida de Mayo dome to get the ultimate sight of the city from above.
During his tour this character discovers an indifferent and perverse humanity, riddled with misery but also teeming with feelings and emotions and love.

This character is played by actor and dancer Gustavo Collini accompanied by a series of guides such as the Beatrices (from Dantes piece) performed by María Vaner (in her latest film) and the special involvement of Marta González, together with other reputable names in the Argentinian scene. Directed by the well-known Italian videoartist and director Pietro Silvestri.

The short film aesthetics is punctuated by surreal features whose main aim is integrating Buenos Aires with Butohian aesthetics- Japanese contemporary dance whose paramount national icon is embodied by Gustavo Collini (main actor as well as co-producer)

El crecimiento es un proceso imperfecto y, a menudo, violento. Una batalla entre lo que existe y lo que esta por nacer.

Argumento:
De las entrañas al cielo de Buenos Aires, un personaje casi dantesco que partiendo del subsuelo de la ciudad, emergiendo del agua y recorriendo el curso sinuoso de escaleras, llega a las cúpulas de Avenida de Mayo hasta una mirada de la ciudad desde la máxima altura de los rascacielos.

Durante su recorrido, este personaje descubre una humanidad indiferente, una humanidad perversa, una humanidad repleta de dramas pero también plena de sentimientos y de amor.

El personaje es interpretado por el actor y bailarín Gustavo Collini que es acompañado a lo largo de su recorrido por la ciudad, por una serie de guías, como las Beatrices de la obra de Dante, interpretados por María Vaner (en su última película), la participación especial de Marta González, junto a otras figuras de la escena argentina. Está dirigido por el cineasta y director de teatro italiano Pietro Silvestri, reconocido internacionalmente por sus trabajos.

La estética del corto ficcional es de características surrealistas y tiene como finalidad integrar el espacio urbano de Buenos Aires, con la estética Butoh, danza contemporánea japonesa de la cual el actor principal y coproductor del proyecto, Gustavo Collini, es el máximo referente nacional y discípulo directo del legendario bailarín japonés Kazuo Ohno de 102 años en la actualidad.

Camino por las calles de Tokio, al reencuentro con el maestro de la Danza Butoh, Kazuo Ohno. Nace un sueño. Desde el Oriente vienen a mi, voces de otras voces, que no logro aferrar.
Se confunden, el retumbar de los Taikos de las antiguas fortalezas medievales, con el llanto del aire y del alma encerrado en una cajita porteña de cartón.
Las palabras vibran en mi cuerpo que danza rituales cotidianos desde lo profundo del espíritu del teatro "Noh", surge un fantasma que me persigue e inquieta. Y este fantasma convoca a otros fantasmas, montados en el lomo indomable de un bandoneón que no calla.
Tango, que parece morir en el hombre nuevo que ya no escucha. Tango, aparentemente débil frente a lo incierto de las pasiones. Tango, mudo ante la muerte en las catedrales. Buda y Cristo lloran.
Tango, que como el Icaro del alma, se precipita derritiendo sus esperanzas en un mañana.

La unión entre el teatro, la danza y el cine es una forma lineal y al mismo tiempo quántica de narrar una historia, una emoción o una idea. Hace mucho tiempo que como creador conjuro diferentes artes visuales para contar historias que se desarrollan en realidades paralelas. Un momento esta pleno de diferentes circunstancias y diferentes perspectivas y el tiempo es subjetivo, no tangible. El escenario es un espacio en donde todo esto tiene un lugar sin ser una realidad siendo solo, las realidades del espectador. el expectante.

"CIUDAD OFF" trata de manera no lineal sobre la reencarnación y lo que podemos quizás llevarnos de este recorrido en el próximo.

Probar diferentes pieles, ser quizás un yo o varios en una misma vida.

El lenguaje BUTOH se presta a lo onírico y lo visceral en complemento con la música y el teatro, creando diferentes estímulos que apuntan a los diferentes sentidos del expectante. El espectador.

In this brand new experience actor and dancer Gustavo Collini, specialist in Japanese Butoh dance opens his creation fan. Theatre, dance, storytelling, objects, image and video are put together so as to shape a unique proposal which is to unfold a series of ancient Japanese stories.

The show opens with a film starring Soledad Silveyra and Horacio Ferrer who will take us by the hand into the special and mysterious world of Horai- a magical and sensitive reality that will set the audience into an amazingly auditory and visual journey. Actress Stella Maris Closas will be leading us into each and every living story.As a proficient and wise teller she will master the stories as well as performing some of the characters; her impressive voice will carry the audience away into an otherworldly trip. Gustavo Collini is the one to bring the stories' protagonists to life. His is a piece of the finest composition; and his impeccable dance undoubtedly shows the best of techniques.

The cinematic piece also takes up a leading part of the theatrical experience which complements the storytelling and sharpens the senses so as to inevitably trigger the viewers' imagination.

Horai's cryptic inhabitants are the guardians of the humanity dreams and intervene any time our creativity is at jeopardy.They are mysterious, sensual, ageless. The Horai wiseman -- Horacio Ferrer- along with the messanger - Soledad Silveyra send an envoy- Stella Maris Closas- so as to recover the parallel lost world of imagination.

Horai : The Vision of the Intangible is a journey to the innermost part of the soul, a trip that cannot be grasped through reasoning. Coming up with the ultimate interpretation of the universe is eventually the viewer's sole task. This is a 1 and ½ hour art exploration that abides by no rules, aiming only at displaying the vital essence of the human spirit and its truly magical folds.
