@hmaltravers ronnie c didn't write, but Ronnie B wrote a lot of the sketches, including the 4 candles one. He was a brilliant writer.

I saw this film 25 times at various cinemas - the first time when I was about 6 - before the video came out. I've watched it a million times since then. I absolutely adore it and I know all the words when I'm listening to it! lol

One of the strangest stories I've ever heard is that Julie almost didn't get the role of Maria because the studio didn't think she was photogenic enough! What!!!!!!! She was absolutely beautiful!

I can't believe they cancelled Cold Case when there are a million cop shows that are all the same, and this is DIFFERENT. The endings alone make it stand out as unique. And they never fail to make me bawl, whatever the episode! The music is pefect, and the mixing of past and present characters at...

This is a brilliant show anyway - I can't believe it was cancelled - but it is without doubt the best programme EVER for the way it ends. (usually reducing me to tears!)

The songs are always perfect for the episode and the way they mix the past and present with the people involved just knocked me...
