Hello, my Fender Katana has active emg's and i really love it, but i would sell it if the price was right. what are you willing to offer? I will tell you that in 2004 after a show i was offered 700 dollars by the sound man at the club we were playing at. Im not sure what it is worth actually. thanks for your interest.

arrghhh well you know what, I find it amazing that Katana means sword, and that your bass was made by someone other than mine was. Would you perhaps consider selling it? I am making it a priority to procure as many of these basses as possible. I am an abnormal bassplayer in that instead of strapping my bass over my shoulder, I strap it around my WAIST. Remember a band called Big Black? They gave me the idea. But they used two straps strung together I believe; I use only one. Lately I have begun to design my own straops, being dissatisfied with the ones on the market. They do not suit my purposes. I find that the Squier Katana balances exeptionally well with the waist-strap thing, when the strap holder thingies are put in the right places. I have never played a bass that had such exquisite balance when strapped around the waist. Please SELL ME YOUR KATANA.

mine is so called "For Nippon Market" (the bass came from Japan.1st owner was a japan musician) and the serial number is therefor without the "A".
It made by not the same person...sorry for it.
