About Muin Welfare Trust
In 2001, Muin Welfare Trust began a comprehensive programme of support to orphans, widows, and beggars in the remote town of Netrokuna, Bangladesh. Along with the humanitarian work, the Trust opened an education centre, providing free education to over 750 students. Our aim is to help families in extreme poverty to educate their children as a means for success in this world and Hereafter (Inshaallah).
There is no adequate mosque, health or educational facilities for the 40,000 people living in the local town of Netrokuna. The Muin Welfare Trust has therefore, acquired 8 Acres of land to build a Mosque to hold prayers for over 5000 people, Education Centre to facilitate over 3500 students, Hospital with 40 beds and a Teachers quarter.
