It's not that big of the affair that she was seeing Rice, but the rub is that she was a reporter. I'm also a eporter, and you don't date the people you cover as a journalist. It's an ethics breach, and a fireable offense.

I was in the Soviet Union in 1986 as part of a high school student group. When we spoke to the Soviet students, it was clear to be that most were happy and well-adjusted. Communism was not perfect, but it was not the evil people believed it to be.

I don't know why they tried so hard to hide the fact that he was gay . . . . . they said it was because his female fans wouldn't buy his records, and that's just not true. I knew he was gay after Wake Me Up Befor you Go-Go, and it didnt make one bit difference.
