@turntablesrock way to go man! I love it when the younger generation actually get the Analog Sound. The L75 is a superb table as is the 1229 (I have one myself), all it needs is a solid plinth, tonearm rewire, and gimbal bearings and you'll have a world class table for little coin.

I use the same glue just a thinner coat, with my fan on in the "drying room" it takes about 2-3 hours before its dry. Works very well...

And to the naysayers, it works very well and you'd have to be pretty shallow to screw up such a simple process.

@nicolaj0154 clean and replace the old lubricants with the proper ones prescribed by DUAL. The hum could be a bad ground wire or the contacts in the headshell needs to be cleaned. DeOxIt is good for that. Replace stuerpimpel will fix start/stop problem.

@JackGuitarRock quite a few places you can go for that, and brands and prices vary widely depending on what sound you are trying to achieve. lpgear and stereoneedles are good starting points.
