If you want a better image, just give it the svideo mod with 5 minutes of soldering.

How come you can walk through many of the bad beatles? I have the Entex Handheld version, and in there I die of any beatle I touch. Really hard. This seems so much easier.

Please make a desktop version. Tablets and mobiles suck to read. Way too heavy. even my iPod Touch is too heavy to read on the couch relaxed. So in a way this is the hipster version of tabbloid.com?

Cool to see the original arcade version of my favourite table top game from the eighties. One of the few titles where the handheld is a better game as the original. Zackman the Pit from Bandai is actually quite fun.

If you want a nice playable VFD Zaxxon, get the Bandai, not this one. The Coleco is just a charming door stopper.

I agree with you that the gameplay on the consoles is often better. But for me the overal expierence counts. And these handhelds have much nicer graphics than early consoles, so that makes them the winner for me.

I do collect myself, and I don't care about boxes that much, but I really wonder how your boxes look after 10 times tumbling down from the atic! Or did you Pritt fake boxes for that part of the video?

That in-between echo sound is fabulous. It was my first tabletop, I never knew so many existed before I found this beauty in a vintage clothes shop in Osaka Japan.
