I am a colorful, outgoing, kind, intelligent, outspoken, optimistic, generous, extremely caring young woman who enjoys nothing more than building up the moral of others. I am a social butterfly to say the least who is never out of her element or off the mainstream of her environment because I am an element of surprise on the mainstream to being discovered some day! Or making a major discovery or two which ever comes first.
Today is Saturday Feb. 20th, 2010 and I have been working feverishly towards actually having something to be bubbly about in retrospect of my 37th (wow...) birthday that is just around the corner (hint, hint). In short, I can honestly proclaim that although I am not quite at the "Oh, try not to make to big of a deal you guys... I mean, I see it as being JUST ANOTHER DAY!" mid-elder gender stage yet but I will say that age is notorious for having harvesting a reputation that reproceeds in itself. But sense we are being honest here, it was not until this very pause for the cause I come to the realization that "age" in relation to "getting older" in relation to "aging" are in fact of NO RELATION not even in the "distant nor extended family" variety YT friends! lol In short, I guess what I am trying to say is I am actually starting to feel/notice the signs of my aging. And not to say that this bothers me so much as whether or not if it did, would this be inviting mid-life crisis as guest of honor accompanied by her faithful companion mid-most to ruin my birthday?! Oh, boohoo. :-) Well, I feel a whole lot better having got that off my head I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks for those of you who do as well as props each and every one of you. May God bless you and all those you recruit/support/created a cause of your own. Without you the effects would overshadow all of the obvious reasons for needing a cause to believe in wholeheartedly to start. On that note, I would like to conclude this care note with sharing my daily devotional with you bringing the gift of sight to your awareness.

SATURDAY Feb. 20, 2010 - Daily Guideposts 2010 - As Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. --John 9:1
BLIND SAM ~ One day Mother dropped my brother Donal and me off at the movie theater to see a Shirley Temple film. She had just given us our allowances; a dime for me and a quarter for Donal, because he was older. Sitting on the corner was a man with no eyes. It was the first time I'd seen a blind person and I was shocked "That man doesn't have any eyes!" I said to Donal.
"Shh! That's Blind Sam," whispered my brother. The man picked up a violin and began to play. I couldn't help staring at him.
"What happened to him?"
"Nothing happened to him, silly. He was born blind."
"You mean he's never been able to see?"
"That's right. People put money in that cigar box. He uses it to buy food and stuff. Come one, Slow Poke, or we'll miss the cartoons!"
"Wait a minute," I said and went back and dropped my dime in Sam's box.
"What'd ya do that for? Now you don't have money for the movie!"
"I don't care much about the movie anymore. My stomach hurts. I'm going home."
Donal gave me a disgusted look and said, "You can't walk home alone! You'll get lost!" He sighed and then dropped his quarter into Blind Sam's box, took my hand, and we started the twelve-block walk home. That night when we said our prayers, we added Blind Sam to our ever-growing list of "God blesses."
