You should leave Islam b/c the Koran teaches that Jesus DIDN'T get crucified, nor did he die. It denies that God has a Son, and even the OT teaches as much. It denies that Jesus was his Son, and yet Jesus, all his apostles, and all their disciples taught it. You should leave it b/c Mohammed said that if he was a false prophet, may God sever his artery to his heart...and when he died...

More Muslim flim flam. You're trying to brush aside Jesus calling himself "the Son" by saying, "Ah, well, to call yourself 'son of God' is just a semitic expression." You're ignoring that he's not just calling himself "son of God," but THE SON of God. He is THE SON and God is THE FATHER in that beloved verse of yours. And elsewhere we see Jesus viewing his sonship as special, unique compared to anyone else in the universe, calling himself God's "Only Begotten" or "One and Only" Son in John 3:16.

This is a magnificent advertisement of how little the Catholic Church teaches people. No one is saying Jesus is God's son b/c of sexual union, except perhaps Mormons.

There are others who are called 'children of God' and "sons of God' or son of God.

It is an expression in semetic languages like hebrew to ascribe something or someone to something or someone.... in this case it would denote someone being of God, belonging to God, following God, etc....

Interesting that all you do is trash Christianity and not respond to my actual question. Very simply, if this verse is good enough for you to prove that Jesus isn't God, it should be good enough for you to prove that he claimed to be God's son, and called God "The Father." It should thus be good enough to show that the Koran is not speaking the truth concerning God not being a Father and Jesus not being his Son.

Based on this, will you be abandoning Islam?

BTW, it sounds like you were VERY poorly catechised by the Catholic Church. Most are. Christians don't believe that Jesus is the "Son of Himself." We don't believe he **IS** the Father. We believe the Father is God b/c he is Deity by nature...and the Son is God b/c He is Deity by nature. Two distinct persons, though.

lol in response to ur last post on my channel, its funny that u realize that Jesus could not tell the future and that only 'the father' aka GOD ALMIGHTY could. So then you say AAH BUT HE IS STILL THE SON calling God the father!

Well, what I find funny is how all you christians battle each other with your opinions of the trinity nonsense. Is jesus son of God? Is jesus God? Is he son of himself (lol). Just give up. ANd yes i was a christian, baptized, communion, elementary and high christian school, sunday school, and all the other fancy works, and ultimately i left christianity as its riddled with man made nonsense. Thats why most europeans became atheists/secularists in the first place, because of the church and its load of crap it invented against Jesus
