@jbeeching Thanks for commenting. I can't speak to the care that may or may not have gone into it, but I still think it was a failed opportunity. It's possible to make bottom shelf bourbon that is much better than this. Evan Williams and Very Old Barton are proof of that.

@TheNerdAmigo I was in that "shitty" crowd. They put on a great show. Part of the problem was that this was in a stadium and most of the AM fans like me had seats that were very far away from the stage. So the crowd was very spread out.

I don't get all the hating on this song. So it's simple, so what? It keeps the album from getting mopey and overly cerebral like every single thing they've done after OK Computer. It's got drive and agression. That's Rock 'n' Roll. If you think you can do better, go out and do it.
