About this user

My name is Ginger B. Read but the children call me Mrs. Gingerbread (or Ms. Ginger for short.) I used to be a kindergarten teacher. One evening I was making gingerbread cookies for my class when I smiled at the moon through the window. The moon shot magic into my hands which then went into my cookie dough when I touched it. To my surprise, the cookies I was baked came to life! That is how I got my family, now known as the Gingerbread Kookies. Sure, they squabble like normal children, but they also love learning to read. Mrs. Santa Claus (Mildred) is my best friend. We have tea, share ideas, go shopping, and make things together. It's so fun. I'm pretty clumsy and I make mistakes a lot, but I am always dreaming and scheming of ways to help mothers and children.
