@Gnabepro Using effects is just a different type of musicianship. Making music is all about manipulating sound and the Edge is doing that just as Hendrix did and as Paige did. The only difference is in the way he manipulates the sound. Let's see you come up with something unique given the effects...

I saw these guys open up for my friend's band (and Blake's on Telegraph!!) way back in 2006! They were awesome then and I'm glad they're on the rise, more people should know about them.

I saw them in DC and I'm seeing them at Bonnaroo in a couple months. I've seen U2, Dave Matthews, the Rolling Stones, the Police... and I have to say that Arcade Fire is the best live band, ever.

i love how gross sounding this is. Modest Mouse is supposed to sound like this, rough and unpolished and really fucking weird... not polished like most indie music is. If you want clean cut music, listen to Vampire Weekend or Phoenix

Ke$ha's not terrible. Its exactly what it tries to be, party music; its not serious, its just for fun (and its even better when your stoned or drunk or both).

Now Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus on the other hand.... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Both are terrible.
