IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE to ASSIMILATE since soviet jews were registered and persecuted as ''jewish by nationality' in the USSR..I.e.They were and still are persecuted not because of religion but just because they are jews..The same was in nazi- germany (but not modern Germany 2011)

STALIN WAS NOT JEW
The word ჯუღა (djuga) does not have anything to do with Jews, according to a Georgian I asked there are two words for «Jew» in Georgian ; EVRAIL and forgot what another is exactly), but NEITHER of them was ''Dzhuga''.

All the evidence suggests that Stalin was Not a Jew.
The only sources claiming he was a Jew are basing it on the EASILY DISPROVED claim that Djugishvilli translates as ''Jewison'', something NO Georgian has ever confirmed.
Again - Jew in georgian language is EVRAIL,,not 'Dzhuga'
