How to get the best from a pole lathe.
I have picked the brains of some of the most experienced Pole Lathe Turners in the country, and in this video I give some thoughts on how to set up a pole lathe to get good results, and I run through the three main turning chisels to use for turning chair legs etc.

I include a demonstration of the roughing gouge, the smoothing chisel, and the skew chisel that I use for making chair leg bead decoration.
I hope you find it useful, and I wish I had known all this when I was first setting out!
