ernestine is way up there for me..I saw her several times in the 80s great combination of jazz, blues and humanity wrapped in timber, color and all that sweet stuff..

what a beautiful song. I think very hard to sing but only a real singer could convey its message.her voice is so rich..i could listen to Ernestine a million times ad still find more..

. Whoever wrote it, this song is a prayer and the singer is praying it, I will listen to it again and maybe even learn something from it.

they are both so different...reginas is very comfortable, nostalgic, and social.Regina's version reminds me more of the original with her back up sisters.and whitneys is a giant easy playful vocal just being incredible regardless of the song.
