I enjoy music, maybe to an extreme. Not all kinds of music, they all have their place though. I prefer Crooner songs, Ballads, Jazz (in the form of Dido, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall and others of that nature), Neo-soul, Latin, Brazilian, Celtic, African drum songs, Classical, Gypsy Jazz, Instrumental Oriental, and more and more I'm finding enjoyment in Broadway music. I dabble around on piano, guitar and (rarely) violin. I also enjoy making art, mostly drawing hands and creating portraits on scratch-board. Lately I've been messing around with colored pencil and making fantastical creations.
Up 'till now (3/16/2010) I've only posted cover songs, though I have many, many originals. I suppose I wanted to test the waters first with songs that aren't mine; I think I'm ready now to begin adding originals. I find that writing allows me to process life and issues that come with having a conscience! I suppose most of my works are more on the serious side of things, every once in a while I come up with something lite and not involving a lot of deep thought, which I have come to find many people prefer that after a long grueling day of using their noggin. I appreciate anyone visiting this page with the intent to discover and uncover life, and welcome your constructive and encouraging thoughts.
