because (2-1)n= 2n -1n & 2n-1n=n
ex. 1st term: n=1, 2n=2, -1n=-1
so for the 1st term of (2n-1n)= 2-1=1 & 1 is the 1st term of n so arent we just left w/ the original equation & end up w/ n=n
