Yeah I agree that some of his stuff from before he got really big (ie before Angels) was actually some of his best work, like this song, Old Before I Die and South Of The Border. Amazing how all music was much better in the nineties!

I really like Lizzy's aunt Mrs Gardiner. She is so dignified, classy and soft-spoken, yet warm and likeable. Perhaps she is Lizzy and Jane's real mother, as they have both turned out so much more like her and not like Mrs Bennett! :-P

If I may point out something about Daphne: no-one's allowed in her room, she calls all the Crane men Dr or Mr instead of their first names, yet she so often regales them with tales of her sexual escapades, unfulfilled desires, morning 'ablutions', etc. Rather contradictory, no?!

I can't believe Frederik was 36 here-he looks about 29 at the most. It's very sweet that he gets all tearful before the ceremony :-) I hope they're still as happy now
