I am a pretty good 3D designer, i only use one 3d program and and that is blender, i don't use any programs that cost money, i dont really do custom UV maps, i mostly use blenders internal image editor but if i want pixel by pixel accuracy i just use Paint, i have gimp but its about as confusing as blender and i do not want to learn blender a second time, i still only understand about what seems to be 25% to 50% of blender, i know the edit mode pretty well, ipo curves pretty well (but from what i read on there website they are getting rid of the ipo curves and replacing them with something new and supposedly better, i hope it is), i have a basic understanding of nodes but no in depth knowledge, i have never used them on any of my "projects", there just too confusing for me, i know absolutely nothing about python scripting, i have tried to find tutorials on it but have only found ones which require you to have a basic understanding of it first, the sequence editor is confusing, seems simply but i always mess up in it. there are still things in blender i have not even touched, such as the NLA editor, i have no idea what it is, the Outliner, i am guessing it shows a tree of objects actions and such, the Action editor, seems like the outliner but something about it must be different, i have touched on the audio window but i think ( and i am not sure on this) it can only open one specific format of audio, which doesn't seem the blender way seeing as how you can import basically any type of 3d file on earth into it.

animation, i am horrible at it, i have never done a satisfying walk cycle, i have seen videos of easier ways by using constraints and such but have never figured out the constraints they use, there is this really awesome hand shaking video which looks really fluid and real that someone made in blender.

I have made some pretty good still scene, i have attempted to do many many major projects but have either gotten bored or have not been able to figure out how to do some part of it, i do have semi to 80% complete projects, just PM me or comment on my videos saying you want to see them and i will post some videos of them. and hey like i have said in one of my videos if you guys want tutorials on basic to intermediate blender stuff i bet i could make a mean tutorial, if there is a want for them.
